Chef Sal graduated from the New York Food and Hotel Management School in a part of New York City known as SOHO in 1989. Sal has worked in four star restaurants, neighborhood pizzerias, local delis, and large catering companies. Sal’s experience and family led him to Alaska in 1994 where he worked at local restaurants briefly before beginning his very successful local Alaskan catering business.
Sal is the father of two school age children, and is an Anchorage School District partner. Sal’s wife Nicki is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who divides her time between her job at the VA and her duties at the Catering Company.
Sal has catered multi-day conferences, large conventions, corporate luncheons, and both large and small weddings. Sal’s professionalism and passion for cooking is reflected in every event he prepares whether it is for 25 people or 1000 people.
