Black and Gold Party / Egyptian Themed

For my 30th birthday, my golden birthday, I wanted an all black and gold theme and it sort of morphed into this regal Egyptian motif, which I loved. Sal was brought on for his creativity and experience and the fact that we just love him and his wife Nicki. Between my husband, my bestie Jen and Chef Sal, they came up with an amazing assortment of appetizers and drinks that were all either Egyptian inspired or gold.... or both.

We had Golden King Crab crostinis, Shrimp skewers with melon and Egyptian spices, Golden Yukon Potato Latke cakes, meatballs with cumin and allspice, mac and cheese croquettes (golden fried) and pyramid purses stuffed with ground turkey and fennel and mint. Absolutely decadent and memorable. The food was one of the biggest highlights of the night and something people still talk about.

Just wanted to let you know what a big HIT your food was on Friday night!! We all agreed, without a doubt the best catered food we have ever had the pleasure of eating. When it came time to go everyone lined up to take home any leftovers! Thanks for making our game night so delicious!
